What is an Advice-Only consultation?

An Advice-Only consultation allows you to receive a second opinion from Defy Medical’s expert care team.

Advice-Only consultations do not manage your care or prescribe medication directly. Instead, our provider will review your lab results and current protocol (if applicable) and provide valuable recommendations for your care. You can take these recommendations back to your regular provider for a more targeted protocol.

This option is useful for patients who are receiving hormone care elsewhere and want a second opinion, and for patients outside of the United States.

Note: Patients do not receive any medications through Advice-Only consultations. If you’re in Defy Medical’s service area and think you’ll want to receive prescription medication now or in the future, we recommend fulfilling our hormone therapy requirements and booking an Initial Consultation.
