How does Female Sexual Dysfunction (FSD) treatment with Defy Medical work?

The process for FSD treatment with Defy Medical varies depending on which therapy you’re interested in starting.

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy

Perimenopause and Menopause are the most common causes of FSD. For those patients, we recommend Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT).

BHRT care with Defy Medical begins with a comprehensive hormone and wellness lab panel and an Initial Consultation via telemedicine. During this appointment, your provider will review your labs, discuss your symptoms and goals, and create an individualized treatment plan.

You’ll order medications, supplies, and supplements (if prescribed) through Defy Medical’s easy-to-use online portal. Your first follow-up consultation and follow-up labs take place three months after your Initial Consultation, and then every six months thereafter.

FSD Medications

If your FSD symptoms are caused by something other than hormone imbalance, Defy Medical offers access to libido-enhancing medications that may help.

First, you’ll submit New Patient Paperwork, and our staff will create an account for you within Defy Medical’s Patient Portal. From there, you’ll be able to order appropriate medications and have them delivered to you.

You can also book a Performance Consultation either individually or with a partner if you’d like to discuss common sexual health medications with a provider (these consultations do not prescribe BHRT).
