Evidence confirms that Prostate Cancer Risk is not caused by Testosterone
For many years there had been a misconception within the general medical community that the male hormone Testosterone caused Prostate Cancer. This misconception was based on flawed studies which were never repeated for some reason. This subsequently resulted in treatment protocols which included chemical castration to eliminate testosterone in men diagnosed with prostate cancer. Unfortunately chemical castration accomplishes nothing except a significant decrease the patient’s quality of life. In addition, when testosterone levels are suppressed too low it will lead to reduced sexual function, decrease in muscle, osteoporosis, depression, anxiety, gynecomastia, and fatigue. All this is brought upon a prostate cancer patient based on a misconception.
The study is presented by Men's Health Boston, Harvard Medical School, Brookline, MA, USA.
Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B-12) Injection
Methylcobalamin is one of two coenzymes forms of B12. Evidence indicates that methylcobalamin has some metabolic and therapeutic applications not shared by the other forms of vitamin B12. Cyanocobalamin, the second coenzyme, is the most common form of B12 provided at physician offices and in over the counter supplements. Methylcobalamin is the more bio-available of the two, meaning that methylcobalamin is immedietly ready for the body to use once injected. Cyanocobalamin must be first broken down within the liver only to produce small amounts of methylcobalamin which the body can utilize.
Methylcobalamin is a very effective treatment for B12 deficiencies commonly found in patients suffer from disease or have nutritional deficits (such as ultra low calorie diets).

Custom Nutrient Infusion: A Different Approach to Nutritional Supplementation
Many vitamin, mineral, and amino supplements are not well absorbed by the body when taken orally. For some people, barriers exist in the gastrointestinal tract to allow for adequate absorption. Administering an injection or IV allows for much higher doses of these nutrients to be infused directly into the body. Vitamins, minerals, amino acids and certain other nutrients can have an incredibly potent drug-like effect when injected, but without the side effects often seen with prescription medications. All of the nutrients we use are natural and safe to be administered by injection or IV.
Scientific research has demonstrated that a variety of conditions can benefit from the use of IV and injectable nutrition. A few of the conditions that may be helped using these techniques include;
Formulas can be customized to ;
All of the nutrient formulas used at Defy Medical have been thoroughly researched and have been shown to be effective in the treatment of certain conditions. All nutrients and substances used in our infusions have been compounded by a licensed US Pharmacy. For the safety of our patients, the pharmacy we use for our injectable nutrients has been personally visited by our medical director to confirm they have a proper “clean-room” for compounding sterile injections. Each batch is sent to an independent lab for testing to confirm sterility, potency, and shelf-life. These reports are available upon request or by contacting the pharmacy (email@example.com).
We offer a select menu of affordable injectable nutrients which can be administered in our office by Intravenous Infusion. Additional formulas are available for self-administered injections using a small-gauge needle and can be shipped directly from our pharmacy to your home along with proper instructions.
